A909 - Wireless wire break detection system for stranding, cabling, screening and armouring machines.
INTRODUCTION
The A909 is a wireless system that allows to detect wire breaks for cabling machines having no sliding contacts brushes.
A series of magnets is placed on the spindle brake disk.
A magnetic sensor located in the vicinity of the magnets is connected to the transmitter, if the time interval between the pulses from the sensor exceeds a predetermined limit, an error signal is transmitted.
If the battery in the transmitter becomes worn out, an alarm code is sent.
A demonstration system capable of controlling two reels is available to assess the functioning and reliability of the system.
